About the Handbook
Who we are
Cam Model Handbook is a small independent publication. We read platform rules, help-centre articles, tax guidance and independent research so that adults considering webcam work can make an informed choice. We are not a studio, agency or platform and we are not affiliated with any cam site.
How we write
- Every pay rate, rule and requirement is taken from the platform's own documentation or a named independent source, linked at the bottom of the page.
- Each chapter shows the date we last checked it. Platforms change their rules; theirs always override ours.
- We don't estimate personal earnings or publish success stories, because we can't verify them.
- Our own data, such as viewer counts, comes from public platform feeds and is reported in aggregate only, never about an individual performer.
What we will never do
- Contact anyone privately to recruit them, or run comment sections or DMs.
- Handle anyone's money, accounts, schedules or contracts.
- Write about in-person meetings or anything other than legal online camming.
- Write for or about anyone under 18.
